THEESE PERSONS ARE VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE on Valeria's life...they compromise to run the 26.2 miles of NY Marathon with the runners of TEAM CONTINUUM FOUNDATION (TC).
TC is helping many families with cancer patients on their daily living needs. Our family is a vivid testimony of what a difference could be during Valeria's treatment without TC helping us!!! They have help us with some expenses as airline tickets, christmas gifts, cultural events, sports, and the most importants, lodging and medical supplements for Valeria.
Each of this runners had a personal motivation and goal for the marathon besides the FUND RAISING GOAL and compromise with Team Continuum. AS THE TEAM WE HAVE BECOME...we want to thank you your generosity...
2009 RUNNERS:
1) Our new neighbor, Patrice Herlihy, decided to run NYC Half Marathon to honor Valeria. She is the mother of six and works as a teacher. For us she is an inspiration! Her great heart made her to join TEAM CONTINUUM and fund raise for them to honor our daughter. God continues blessing her and her family!!!
2) www.bobobaseball.com - Jonah, inspired by twelve year old neighbor Valeria Reyes' valiant fight against cancer, has decided to make Team Continuum his charity of choice as he takes on social responsibility planning for his Bar Mitzvah. Jonah, his father Scot, and cousin Ezra, aka "Big Ez" are travelling to every stadium across the country as a way to pay homage to the sport kids love, and support people who are fighting cancer here and now.
"We have being 4 1/2 years fighting for our daugther's life...In a way to help my family and other families I decided to run the 26.2 miles. thanks to those who helped me to give back!" Gerardo Reyes
